By using our services or purchasing products from Rafiki Pest Control, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please review them carefully before proceeding.
1. Services Offered
Rafiki Pest Control provides professional pest management solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Our services include:
- Insect and rodent control
- Termite treatment
- Fumigation
- Sanitary bin services
- Supply of pest control products
All services are carried out by trained and certified professionals using approved, safe, and effective methods.
2. Booking & Appointments
- Appointments must be scheduled in advance via phone, WhatsApp, or through our website.
- Emergency or same-day service is available and may attract an additional fee.
- Clients are expected to provide accurate information about the pest issue and ensure the premises are accessible.
- To reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours before your appointment to avoid a cancellation fee.
3. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are quoted in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) and may be subject to applicable taxes.
- Payment is due immediately after service unless otherwise agreed.
- Accepted payment methods include Mobile Money (MTN, Airtel), cash, bank transfers, and mobile banking.
- Late payments may attract penalties or result in suspension of service.
4. Guarantees & Limitations
- Some services come with a warranty (typically 14 to 30 days), which will be clearly indicated on your receipt or invoice.
- The warranty does not cover re-infestation caused by poor hygiene, structural issues, or improper storage.
- Rafiki Pest Control is not liable for pest-related damage or for circumstances beyond our control.
5. Client Responsibilities
To ensure successful service delivery, clients are expected to:
- Provide safe and accessible premises for our team
- Follow all aftercare and safety instructions provided
- Notify us promptly if pest issues persist after treatment
6. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may attract a cancellation fee.
- Refunds for services and products follow our Return & Refund Policy.
- Refunds will not be issued if services were completed as agreed and aftercare instructions were not followed.
7. Health & Safety
- We use only approved and safe pest control products.
- Clients with allergies, pets, children, or medical conditions must inform us beforehand so we can adjust our approach.
- Temporary evacuation may be required during or after certain treatments for safety reasons.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on our website and marketing materials including texts, graphics, blog posts, and branding is the intellectual property of Rafiki Pest Control® and may not be copied, distributed, or republished without written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
Rafiki Pest Control shall not be held responsible for:
- Delays caused by unforeseen events such as bad weather or road conditions
- Damages resulting from existing infestations
- Losses or injuries arising from failure to follow safety or aftercare instructions
10. Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services implies acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Disputes will be addressed through negotiation, and if unresolved, escalated to the appropriate legal authorities within Uganda.
